Israel refuses to take into account the Biden administration's comments

Sarahah News – Jordan

The Minister of Defense in the Israeli occupation government, Yoav Galant, said that Tel Aviv will continue the war on Gaza and dismantle the Hamas movement.

Gallant added during his meeting with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Thursday, in Tel Aviv, that they need continued American support.

He pointed out that dismantling Hamas would require several months, so the war on Gaza will continue.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said that Washington expressed its concerns to Tel Aviv about civilian casualties in Gaza.

US President Joe Biden had warned the Israeli occupation that it might lose the support it enjoys due to its “indiscriminate bombing” in Gaza.

Kirby said in a press conference on Wednesday: “We have concerns and expressed these concerns about the continuation of this military campaign, while at the same time acknowledging that Hamas was the one who started it.”

He stressed that Biden was frank about some concerns about some matters in the occupation entity, noting that any change in the occupation government is determined by the “Israeli” people.

Kirby noted that the United States has expressed concerns about reducing civilian casualties, expecting that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will address this issue in his visit.

He expected Sullivan to make other stops in the region when he visits the occupying entity.
